Our beautiful city is located high in the mountains of the Eastern Highlands on the border of Mozambique, along the Beira Road corridor, making it the gateway to the Indian Ocean.
Mutare is formed by rigorous mountain terrain, and lush green forests. Its people are known for their gentle and helpful manner in general, and are a mixture of different cultures, races, creeds, religions, ages and sizes. Sightseeing is very popular, and you will find vista views, and rushing mountain streams guaranting the city of a clean water supply up to the year 2020.
